In the book half yard Christmas by Debbie Shore was a pattern for this fabric gift box. Using some Bambi fabric. I made a few changes to the pattern-making it an inch larger, sewn the ribbons to the bottom of box instead of gluing. The pattern also called for just one set of buttons to be sewn onto the box to indicate the front where the two ribbons meet. However I sewn the buttons onto all four sides. The ribbon going up and around the box have been glued on as per pattern directions. By sewing the buttons onto all sides I figured it would help to keep the ribbons in place if the glue comes lose.
