Miss Barbie and her clothes

Along with knitting some Barbie clothes I also sat down and sewn some. Some of the patterns came from pinterest and others from a sewing pattern. Fabric used was scraps left over from clothes I made for DGD and others from other projects,

I do have a few more cut out to make but they will be for her birthday next year. Just figured while I had the pattern out and the fabric scraps were sitting there I would just go ahead and cut them out. I put the cut out fabric with the patterns so everything is safely tucked away together.





This red dress is made from left over fabric used on a same quilt wall hanging and after seeing a fabric like it in black and white on pinterest I knew I had to make one with this fabric. I think it makes a perfect Christmas dress for Miss Barbie.




Barbie is wearing a frozen outfit just like the one I made for DGD couple years ago to play dress up.

    What pretty outfits for Barbie! I have made lots of doll clothes in the past, both for Barbie and American Girls. Now one of my granddaughters is getting interested in Barbie dolls, so it seems there may be more doll clothes in my future.
