have no idea what I am doing as I am totally new to this but am looking for a way to show my crafting to some friends and thought this would be the way to do so. Now just need to figure out how to post info into the profile section.
It is looking great, Rose! If you want to add more info into your profile section, just click on "View my complete profile" right under your name, etc. in the sidebar. When you do, you'll see an orange button in the upper right that says "Edit profile". Click on that and it opens up a whole form where you can add in and change information. When you have it the way you want it, scroll to the bottom and click "Save profile" and you are done! You can change things whenever you want.
Thanks Mrs T for the tips. May go in and add more info but for now need the figure out the posting of pictures.. Having a hard time getting them on here. Those that I did post I had to first out on photobucket and tha bring them here by a link.
I used to have to do that also when I first started. The easiest way to add pictures is to first be sure your photos are on the computer desktop. When you go to Blogger to do a new post, click on the picture icon in the toolbar at the top of your "create new post" window.
That should open up another window that says "add images". Then click the button that says "Choose files". A window should come up which includes "Desktop" as one of your choices.
Select "Desktop" and you should see a window with icons for everything that's on your computer desktop, including your pictures. You then can select the picture(s) you want to use, and click the "choose" button at the lower right of that window.
These pictures you chose will then show up back on that "add images" window. You select them by clicking on them, then click "Add selected" at the bottom left of the window. Voila, your pictures should now be on the page with the new blog post you are writing. You can click on the pictures to change their size or to add captions.
