couple sewing projects and a knitting one

DGD wanted a purse for her dress up box. I found a buttercup purse pattern online and in two sizes. I decided to make the smaller size. For the outer layer I used some left over from the dress up clothes I made her for Christmas. Than for the lining I repurposed a dress shirt of DH. It when through the wash unfortunately with a red top by accident. Unable to get the dye out after a few tries DH was going to just throw it out. Before doing so I was able to cut out the lining.

I made myself a top and with the left over fabric I was able to get a top for DGD. I used the dress pattern from her Easter dress to make it.

Here is the top I made for me using Butterbrick B6751 pattern. Below is a close up of the fabric pattern.

I made myself this Magical  Thinking that begins as a small cowl section and becomes large draped cowl. Made with fingering weight yarn. Each hank of yarn contained the different shades of yarn seen  in the knitted project. Made using Cacsade yarns wave.
