Knitting for January were a couple dishcloths for my oldest DS. They were knitted in Bernat Chocolate ombre. Also knitted were the felted mittens seen below. Pattern is February be MaBe on Raverly. Yarn used is Sandnes Garn fritidsgarn in Natural and blue.
Sewing for January was pillowcases. The first three are Halloween, Easter and spring. Next two are Christmas and the last four are pillowcases to hold quilts but for now they will hold the finished top and the backing/binding fabric. I do have the names embroider but still need to add them onto the cases. The holiday cases are for a accent pillow I have on my living room couch which is about half the size of a bed pillow.
Cards made in January. The second picture is from a card making class I took through a store called Papercrafter's workshop. It was a kit and than the class was done over zoom. After the class I did a couple extra cards as seen in the first picture. I had this brown embossed type brown paper that a yarn store used to wrap a knitting book I had ordered from them. The paper had four layers to it so I have lots to use. I took a light blue ink pad and brush it lightly over it-just hitting the top of the raised design. Really like the way it turned out so I have put the rest of the paper wrapping in a safe place to use on more cards.
Birthday cards I made for two of my grandchildren
Paper is photo play and doodlebug fairy garden paper and stickers
Cards I made to send off to the ladies from my church as their January cards

Pillow cases--love the red truck!
